flyExclusive is a vertically integrated private jet operator headquartered in Kinston, North Carolina, flying approximately 100 jets from light to large cabin — including one of the world’s largest Cessna Citation fleets. It holds its own FAA air carrier certificate as Exclusive Jets, LLC, sells charter, Jet Club membership and fractional ownership, and maintains, paints and refurbishes those aircraft in its own repair station.

flyExclusive is an operator, not a broker. A private jet broker arranges a flight on somebody else’s aircraft and takes a margin; an operator holds the FAA air carrier certificate, employs the crews and controls the aircraft. flyExclusive owns and operates the fleet it sells, so the company that answers the phone is the one that flies the trip. Where a trip is placed with an approved vendor air carrier, that is disclosed.

flyExclusive has operated under its own name since 2015, when founder Jim Segrave opened it in Kinston, North Carolina. Its lineage runs back to 1994 and Segrave Aviation, which he sold to Delta Private Jets in 2010. The Jet Club membership launched in 2020, the company’s Part 145 repair station opened in 2021, and flyExclusive became publicly traded in 2023.

flyExclusive owns and operates approximately 100 aircraft, light jets through to large cabin, and holds one of the largest Cessna Citation fleets in the world. The types flown for charter guests, Jet Club members and fractional owners are the Citation CJ3+, Citation Excel/XLS, Citation X, Challenger 350 and Cessna Grand Caravan — including an amphibious Caravan that lands on water in the Bahamas and the Caribbean. flyExclusive’s own crews fly the aircraft and its own technicians maintain them. Every pilot trains annually in full-motion simulators at CAE SimuFlite and FlightSafety International, and captains are re-checked every six months. Maintenance is in-house: the Kinston headquarters houses a 104,000 sq. ft. Part 145 repair station with six hangars, where the fleet is maintained, painted and refurbished alongside third-party aircraft.

flyExclusive holds FAA Air Carrier Certificate 3EJA805N and carries ARG/US Platinum — the highest ARG/US rating — across its fleet, along with Wyvern Wingman, Wyvern SMS Level 3 and IS-BAO Stage 2. Only 5% of private jet companies hold both ARG/US Platinum and Wyvern Wingman. All of them are awarded by independent auditors rather than self-declared, and each is explained on the safety and certification page.

flyExclusive flies on demand across the United States and into Canada, Mexico, the Bahamas and the Caribbean, and its international service reaches the Americas, Europe, Asia and beyond.
